floral encounters to brief companions
for years, flowers have found their way into my everyday life, and I can't quite remember when I started photographing them. somewhere between unfamiliar cities, on long walks, or in the most ordinary moments.
some were gathered, others simply admired, and many were photographed without much thought of what would come next.
over time, these encounters became a quiet habit of noticing.
each flower carried a memory of a place, a feeling, or a moment in time. without realizing it, I had been collecting more than photographs. I was gathering little fragments of a journey, shaped by the flowers I met along the way.
years later, I found myself revisiting hundreds of photographs, remembering places I had been and moments I had almost forgotten. slowly, these scattered encounters began to find their way into a story of their own.
and so, floral encounters to brief companions came to life.
a gentle book, always in bloom.
